Linky Parties & Tuesday

I'm so excited to be linking up with Latoya from Flying into First Grade for her Let's Get Acquainted. She always has such creative ideas and didn't let us down this time! She came up with a game board and we have to play tic-tac-toe answering the questions in order.

Here's the game board:

Theresa's Answers...Robyn is on vacation! :)

Dream Vacation: Since I have a 3.5yr old and a 18 month old, right now my dream FAMILY vacation would be to Disney. Of course since this is a "dream" vacation, money wouldn't be an option, so the trip would be all inclusive. I would also be sure to bring one of my friends as a nanny, so me and the husband could have some fun nights out. We'd stay for about two weeks, go to all of the parks, and stay in a huge villa at Orange Lake right on the Lazy River. (Seriously that resort is so cool, you don't even have to leave it to have a fabulous vacation!) I would be sure to sign up months in advance to have lunch at Cinderella's castle and all the fun places for kids to eat and meet characters. I would also bring my daughter to the Bippity Bopity Boo Boutique to get the Princess treatment...in fact... I WANT TO LOOK LIKE A PRINCESS TOO! lol  Since we are dreaming, I'd bring my photographer friends to follow us around and take pictures so I could make an amazing vacation scrap book later on. Of course I'd add plenty of margaritas, cosmos, pina coladas, and spa treatments into this vacation and it would be flawless!

Books I'm Reading: Right now for fun, I'm reading a parody of 50 Shades. ;) Oh la la!

Hobbies: Cake Pop Making, Scrap booking, Photography, Sewing, TpT'ing, Kayaking, Fishing, Running, & many more. If I had more time, I'd have more fun! :)

Ohhh... Emm... Gee! Can you believe over 500 people viewed the last blog entry I wrote? The raffle was also a HUGE success, so thank you to all of my new blog, Facebook, and TpT friends. I am still in shock that 173 blogs linked up. What a successful linky! Great job to the amazing girls at Collaboration Cuties for creating the linky! :)

I have some exciting news. I (well random.org) picked the two winners out of the 364 entries! Congrats to these two lucky ladies who get to pick a fabulous item from our our TpT store!

I hope you all had a great weekend! Yesterday I was lucky enough to go to a Boston Red Sox game and had a blast. We sat in the front row, the dug out, on the Green Monster, and were VIP's (I was with one of my best friend's who sister is the Red Sox NSEN reporter! Absolutely AMAZING day (hence the cheese face in my selfie)! :)

Lastly, if you aren't following PinkadotsElementary on Instagram, you are missing out on all of the fun. The crafts my teacher friends are making are driving me crazy. I need to find a Hobby Lobby ASAP!

Are you a FB fan? If so...go get your freebie! :)

Today and yesterday Robyn and I were stuck inside working on curriculum. It took us two days to redo one unit, but the exciting part is, it is going to be a good one. We are super excited to start off the new school year with a strong unit of study resulting in creating public service announcements on homelessness. Now I can officially start summer vacation! Wohoo!

In other news, I am thrilled to share with you my updates on Facebook.  A special thank you to my bloggy friend, Mrs. Fultz, for making a great video tutorial. It took me no time to make a "Fans Only" tab and a "Shop TpT" tab, buttttt I will admit that after I added the tabs to my page they disappeared and I had to redo them. I am also having trouble seeing the tabs from my iPad view, but they really are there, so if you are on an iPad, check it out on a computer. Up for grabs is an adorable welcome banner with matching name tags...BUT you need to like my page to get it! I will put it up in TpT shortly.

Thanks to each and everyone one of you. I can't believe how much I've come to love blogging, how much I've learning from all of my online friends, and I am excited for the future. If you haven't already clicked the "Follow on Bloglovin'" button, please do so on the top right of the page. This will allow you to keep reading my blog!

Want to know a secret??? If you've read up to here already, I think you deserve to know...TOMORROW I am going to participate in a linky leading to some great prizes!!

OMG guys... These are amazing!

Maybe I have been hiding under a rock or something, but when did erasable GEL pens come out? I originally saw them on Instagram, from I forgot who, so let me know if it was you because I owe you a big kiss. I have been looking for a fun, colorful pen for my FIRST ERIN CONDREN planner that is on order so wanted to give these a try. Besides loving school supplies, bright colors, and pens in general, the erasable part is just fabulous! I stink at SPELLING and my plan book is always changing so I thought if these worked it would be awesome! I had my doubts...major doubts. I mean gel that erases?

Well I bought them on Amazon because taking two babies into Staples is hell, and  received them in two days. They are made by Pilot, which is a trustworthy brand in my opinion, so I had high hopes.

So when I got them and tried them I realized they didn't have erasers on them an they are called "frixion" for a reason. No eraser means no breakable or use-upable pieces. It's basically just a plastic tip and the ink disappears when it is rubbed...hence the name. I was blown away trying these. (I know...it's the small things in life. Right?) I quickly made a video and sent it to Robyn, my partner in crime. She immediately claimed the pink one. Lol I took purple and we gave green to our other BFF teacher. I can't wait to test them out on my planner...when that arrives! I see myself buying tons of these in the future! :)

Don't mind the green nail polish (had green and white day last week) or the children talking in the background...my house is normally a zoo.

I am still super psyched at how well these worked! I would definitely (and just did) recommend them to everyone! :)

*I was not asked, paid, or told to review these pens and will receive nothing from Pilot for this review. I simply love fun/helpful supplies and wanted to share my love for these pens!*

So anyone want to share any other life changing discoveries with me?

Bloglovin'- Come on over and follow us! :)

Okay...so I know I've been MIA lately, but I promise I will be back this weekend. We are finishing school tomorrow and I've been swamped. Robyn's been changing classrooms and I've been playing catch up with things that she finished months ago (because she's crazy like that)! Anyways, we just downloaded the bloglovin' app and are going to test that out for reading your lovely blog posts. We figured we'd better convert so you can catch up with us as well!

If you haven't followed us on Instagram, check us out. I am on there daily because it's so easy to check in, comment, like, and bounce out.  Follow us as PinkadotsElementary, so creative, huh!? I'm trying to keep it teacher & teacher craft related, so my personal account is under a different name!

We hope those of you starting vacation already are enjoying it! Robyn and I are off for curriculum writing Monday & Tuesday next week, but will check in! :)

Follow my blog with Bloglovin I am working on getting a bloglovin' gadget on my right side bar, but might take me a few to figure that out! :)
