This was so easy to make! You can find the toolbox at Home Depot or Lowes and pick up scrapbook paper at any craft store. I cut the scrap paper to fit in the boxes. It was just trial and error. Then I printed up the labels I wanted to use and glued them onto my scrap paper. I even added scrap paper to each handle. I used glue dots to stick the paper to the boxes, this worked perfect because they are clear and really stick!! It’s the perfect tool kit to keep all of my “junk” organized! Now I’m never searching for a paper clip, glue sticks, or anything else!
If you have any questions on how to make it, let me know!! I’d be happy to help.

WOW! This is so awesome. My desk drawer is a jumble. I love to organize too. Well, I have to because I have so much stuff. I do have a question: How much was the "tool box"? I made a vow to try not to buy new things, if possible. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteThe toolbox was around $20, but I think it's totally worth it for the organization it gives me. I allow my students to use it to grab supplies as well. They actually fight over who helps me refill the drawers at bus call. I've seen them at Kmart for cheaper than Home Depot, they are in the tools area for storing nails and bolts.
ReplyDeleteThis is a similar one from Home Depot, but it is $26. Be sure to look on Pinterest for "Teacher Toolbox" for some really neat ones!
Found it! And for $16! Not bad!
ReplyDeleteSo cute! Love the pictures!

I saw this on Pinterest and it is adorable! I am currently without a desk and storage space is limited in my classroom. So, I opted not to make one of these. =(
ReplyDeleteI am also a new blogger. I figured I would pop over and give a fellow new blogger some support. =)
