Wordless Wednesday! {Project Adventure in P.E.}

Wordless Wednesday!

 Our students get the chance to work on the project adventure course outside when the weather finally warms up. They develop teamwork skills and have to work on their listening and speaking standards. Although they look forward to this ALL YEAR, I wish they did this course in the beginning of the year to learn about each other and develop a bond as a class.

Do your students do anything special during P.E. when the weather is warm?

  2. We have a gym, so the kids stick in there most of the time. They are dripping sweat from five minutes of recess here in Florida. It's supposed to be in the low 70's tomorrow. I'll take it!!

  3. This isn't spring specific, but we have a climbing wall in our gym. Twice a year, the students get to do a unit complete with climbing, ropes, and a zip line. It is so much fun. I always join them for at least one of the classes during this unit.

    Project Adventure looks like a lot of fun. Enjoy!

  4. The kids' favorite phys ed activity is Field Day... I said the "kids"... not so much the teachers. Well, let's just say the weather influences the teacher's take on it, so SOME years it's great... The whole school participates, moving through different stations-- like fill the buckets with water station, and obstacle course station, and popsicle station...
